Hi there I have 2 rabbits a disabled rabbit who requires alot of care and a rabbit who isn’t disabled and lives a normal life. My question is does everyone spend the same amount of quality time with each of there rabbits? Now that kamdyn is disabled he needs more care than my other bun sunshine. I feel bad if I spend more time with one then the other. Thanks

I don’t feel bad because the extra time I have to spend with disabled or ill rabbits is usually doing things like cleaning and medicating them and I know for certain these rabbits are not enjoying this. I feel even if I hug or cuddle them after medicating or cleaning, they are making faces at me and swearing silently at me :~)

I know it’s necessary to help improve their quality of life, but I don’t think they understand it that way.

I kind of think that my other rabbits are glad it’s not them.

I spend more time with Powder, cause he’s just more interested in me. When one of my pets is sick, they get more time because they take more care. Don’t feel bad that the disabled take more of your time, they need it more.

I try to spend an equal amount of time with my three buns but when one is sick or unwell they get more time and attention.
