Simple question: does a rabbit have to stay overnight after they’re spayed? I need to know, because the nearest vet who will do it is about 2 hours away.

As a rule no. If there were some serious complication I guess the bun would have to stay over for observation, but otherwise the bun gets to go home the same day. They often ask you to check the bun in in the morning and come get it around 5 pm or so.
