Her scar just looks so small! The only one I remember seeing that small was my friends rabbit that I took to be spayed and looked after. She was a wild rabbit and her scar was so small in comparison to when I had my girls done.
I also looked after another friends rabbit when she licked her scar until it started to open. I’ll try find the pics (they’re not gruesome)
She was put on antibiotic as a precaution and it was just a matter of keeping an eye on it until the skin knitted back up.
btw, I had these rabbits in my care because both owners wanted a vet that was closer to where I live perform the spays. And one owner doesn’t drive also.
ETA: Mmm.. I don’t think I will be able to find those photos given it was over 5 years ago.
I do remember that Jersey (my first rabbit) had a slight opening at one end of her incision and I could see the blue stitching material. Even then, when I rang and asked about it, they were not concerned. It healed up okay.
