Well how old is your rabbit?
It depends on lots of factors like how healthy your rabbit is, how often your vet does spays etc.

Lots of older female rabbits need spays as uterine cancer is starting to develop, in which case there’s not really any choice.

shes around 3, i took her to a vet and he told me shes healthy and a spay was not needed which was odd, i also cant seem to find a vet who’s good with small animals around my area.

There is no set age to say when a rabbit is too old to be spayed. Any time an older rabbit is considered for surgery, it’s a good idea for the vet to perform blood test to check for liver function, and to give an all over checkup to assess the health of the rabbit. Of course you need to have a rabbit savvy vet who is well versed in rabbit surgery.
