Thumper is pretty matted on his body and so I am taking him in to get shaved. I was wondering if I should bring something to wrap him in or a heated pad so he’s not cold without his layer of fur? He’s an American Fuzzy Lop! Thanks to all!!

I don’t think they will shave to the skin, it will be more just the top matted layer. He should still have enough fluff to keep himself warm, but do feel his ears regularly for the first few days to check if he’s getting cold. You can always give him extra blankets etc in his hutch and give him the choice
