to the tune of the “daisy” song HAL 9000 sings in 2001: a space odyssey. in the movie the scene is actually pretty downbeat but it’s still a nice lullabye and sometimes i’m petting her and it’s just what i think of.

 

i also sing

“little banjo

“must you always chew”

to a very simple melody i made up. it’s a way to try and reproach her when i catch her gnawing on something she shouldn’t without making her feel too bad.

I’ve been singing “Bunny Face” to the tune of the old 40’s song “Baby Face” for some months now. Can’t get it out of my head:
