        Hello there,

I don’t know what happened with my bunny but since this morning he acted weird. He always pretty active during the morning. He was sitting for hours in a corner and when I tried to get his attention he ignores me.I saw liquid but dense poop arounds his cage but I though that it was pee. I tried to give him vegs and he didn’t want it , then I tried with his favorite fruit, watermelon and he did not eat either. He didn’t eat his dinner, pellets, from last night. I am terrible worry. He just defecated the same  liquid substance  and he didn’t move much.its he sick? Its the first time that this happens to him.I hope somebody can give me some info.

        Thanks in advance.

          Hi,
You need to take him to the vet asap. I don’t know where you’re located, so it may be Sunday afternoon here in the US, but at the least, call your vet to get him seen first thing Monday morning. Ask if there is anything you could be doing in the meantime. If you don’t have a vet that calls back, or emails you back, then call a local emergency animal hospital and ask for anyone who is knowledgeable about bunnies. See if you can get someone to tell you what to do, and if it’s safe to wait until morning. If it is already Monday where you are, take him in right away. You can probably do a drop off and the vet will examine him when she can. Hopefully you didn’t wait for our response here.
It may just be something he ate, or a temporary bout of diarrhea, but better safe than sorry. Keep us posted.
