Rabbit was just recently rescued, and when she stayed outside all of a sudden we pick her up and to our discovery of what resembled poop. We thought it was just poop stuck on her fur and pulled it off when Ava started gushing blood. She recovered from that easily. Days pas and she is fine running up and down as she aways does. Today we took a picture of her again and it seems to be growing or something is happening to her, and but she is in no pain. Does anyone have a clue what this may be?

Could Ava be a recently neutered boy? Is the picture of her “downstairs” area?

If something is growing down there, it could be an infection or inflammation. If it is an infection in a wound (you mentioned gushing blood), she could need antibiotics and a painkiller. Can you contact the rescue you got her from? Ava needs veterinary attention.

Too hard to see what that is or what is going on with just that one picture. Regardless, growth and recent blood gush, vet visit asap.

And like bam said, I would try to contact the rescue first. And I would put some urgency in the matter.

We are bringing here there but it’s unfortunately not the best vet in town. My dog died because of their lack of consistency. I will try my best to get better pictures.

Hmm I think I know where bam is going, it does look quite like a male rabbit’s underparts.

@Nam220 if you’re in the US, there is a list of recommended vets on the House Rabbit Society website. Maybe you could let us know your location and some people may be able to recommend a vet as well.

I can’t really tell if its in the right area, but those look like bunny testicles.

If it’s not quite the right area (it looks a little too close to the tall but hard to tell from this pick) then it could be a growth or infection that needs seeing to.

Looks like the family jewels to me as well. Bam is probably onto something (neutered male, injury to the sacks or infection).

I think those might be bunny “ballz or nutz”, are you sure she is a female?
