Someone’s jealous

Hahah Mikey is a wee bit jealous of all the attention. Nevermind that he gets the dog park everyday and I’ve bought him some pretty special treats and toys…

So Chuck is in my lap and Noots on the couch beside me and then this happens (Noot looks angry but he always does  He actually got up to munch and food and then curled back up with Mikey hehe)

Cute photos K&K, but do you ever worry that Mikey would attack any of the bunnies out of jealousy? I’m sure you’re right on him to keep him in line if he misbehave, but I’ve had some jealous rages appear out of nowhere in some of my pets before and it’s very scary.

 

Kahlua…what a cutie! ^_^ I just love how superior the looks are that one gets from the lionhead clan of bunnies. The royalty makes you feel all that much smaller than usual. xD
Ahhh…what I would give to live somewhere that Shadow could go to a dog park every day…no snow, no bitter cold, no aching bones…. We have plenty of room here for walks, but the winter just makes him so stiff. (and us too!)

Oh not at all…he’s not REALLY jealous he was just trying to cuddle and get attention. We did slow desensitization over three months before he could come into contact with them, and then slowly from there. Bunnies in the park are OK to chase in his books but these ones are in his ‘pack’ and he actually grooms them. Don’t know if you can tell in the picture-but Noot is practically soaked from all the kissing he gave him. (He really likes Rupert and Noot, because those are the two that will go up to him) He’s been ‘watching’ them when I’m out -he just sleeps beside their dog bed -I told him he’s in charge of watching them (mysteriously poops disapear that way…. )

Ahhh…what I would give to live somewhere that Shadow could go to a dog park every day…no snow, no bitter cold, no aching bones….

I think you forget where I live!! It’s been a nice fall actually but it’s snowy and sub zero here too I wear my Nomex jacket (it’s for oil workers working further north actually) and snowboard boots…the snowboard pants are coming out soon Apparently when it’s cold out he still NEEDS to go for exercise LOL
