last time I posted I was in the middle of binding my two bunts Latvia and vanilla and am happy to announce that they are now fully bonded and free roam in the bedroom 🎉

however vanilla sheds SO MUCH more than Katniss my Mini Rex

I didn’t like the Furminator does anyone have any brush recommendations?  What do you think of the fur buster

I really like the fur buster comb! I also use a lint roller on some of my buns and do a lot of hand plucking for the buns that shed in big tufts.

I use hair buster the most but it really depends on fur type as I have a bun it doesn’t really work on.

Don’t forget low level methods like running damp hands through fur.

Hairbuster comb doesn’t work. My bunny hates the sticky roller, wet hand petting, plucking… So we have one of those brush mitts. Does it work perfectly? No. But I can get a decent amount of fur off of him. It will be flying around everywhere, but it will be off him.

My preference is for the silicone/ rubber type brushes, I have one that has a flatter side and a side with chunky points which help brush deeper into the coat. Similar to the Kong Zoom Groom. I find it very effective, the fur does often go flying but it pulls a lot out gently to get all the loose stuff out. I actually use it on the bunnies, cats and my dog.
