I was petting my rabbit tonight, Penelope, when I felt a little lump on her side. I got her to lay down, and I moved all the hair to reveal a smallish lump that looks rather like a large nipple. It is flesh-colored and squishy feeling with a black tip. Does anyone know what this might be? I googled an assortment of key words but didn’t find anything that seemed similarly described. My boyfriend thinks it may be a a little bug burrowed or something (!!), but from what I could find on that topic, there is no infection or necrosis.
