Stanley has a tiny dried brown crusty on his eyes. He’s playing eating and pooping normally and isn’t sneezing or anything.. is there anyway this is normal?

I asked about this when I first got Bumpy. I was told this can be normal and was compared to when we get little crusties in the corners of our eyes while sleeping. After awhile I stopped seeing it on him, I’m guessing he just got a little more skilled in washing his face!

Hi Caitlyn, it sounds like Stanley has some sleep in his eyes? If it is – I leave it alone (I’m not a picker), but my hubby (like with the dogs, & thank fully not me) can’t help himself and pulls/wipes it out. Sounds ok to me. Other BBer’s will read this and if I’m wrong will jump in and correct me (aren’t they great!). You should post some more pictures of Stanley – you must know by now how much we ALL adore new bunny pic’s! Cheers Caitlyn.

Edit/Add – Manic_Muncher – yes! cleaning your face helps! Doh! ha ha ha hah….

You have lots of questions Caitlyn!
I always pull Luna’s sleepy dust off when I see or feel it there. I think she actually appreciates it.
              Totally normal

Isn’t that what this place is for? Information and to ask questions? You don’t have to read my questions or answer them. Thank you.

I don’t think Tessie was saying anything negative towards you or your questions. It’s sometimes hard to interpret tone via written communication but I don’t think I’ve ever seen Tessie be “snarky” with someone and would give her the benefit of the doubt.

Yea, from reading replies from Tessie before, I have to agree, she was being playful.

Oh, sorry to have caused any offense, I didn’t mean to!
