  My sweet bun jumped 3ft from my arms in an attempt to not being put back in her cage. She landed on the hard kitchen floor and appears to have not broken her nail but maybe twisted it? She was bleeding but it has stopped on its own but the nail still seems twisted. What should I do? I don’t have a regular vet or anything and am not sure how much it would cost to be looked at by one. Should I leave it for a few days or get it checked immediately?
  
  I’ve only had her for a couple months and have never had a bunny before.
  
  Any advice would be great!

  Did you check to make sure it is just the nail and not the toe? If it’s just the nail, then I would clean it up as best you can. Nail injuries are common, but you don’t want it to become infected. The outer nail will die and eventually fall off. So definitely keep an eye on it.

  Was that one always pink in colour? It’s almost as in an outer layer has been stripped off.
  The others could have the tips trimmed off so they won’t get snagged on anything.
  
  I can totally relate. My lop ripped his nail today. I stemmed the blood flow and will just keep an eye on it for the time being. As LBJ said, nail injuries are common.
