Oh okay, I was going to suggest a traumatic experience may have occurred with a previous owner outside his cage but that doesn’t fly if you’ve had him from the beginning.
Mine really aren’t all that friendly either. I have had BB for a year and a half. He doesn’t have issues with petting on his terms, he isn’t a lap bunny for sure.
Josephine is more the nails in the ceiling at the drop of a pin or turn of the doorknob…if she is upset or scared she will thump her foot until I address it and even then she tends to be skeptical. I’ve only had her since May, she wasn’t fond of any contact beyond washing my face when she came. I lay on the floor with them and they jump on me but again I doubt they will be lap bunnies, ever.
I don’t know for certain if she is Britannia Petite but they are known for being high strung ( according to the breed page ). Even the vet said she is high strung..freaking adorable, but high strung
