So, I currently have my beautiful mini rex Cocoa. A local shelter just got in about 13 rabbits that need homes. I’ve really been on the fence about getting another rabbit. Will Cocoa feel jealous or upset towards the new rabbit? I would love to adopt another rabbit, but I’m so worried that Cocoa won’t be too happy about it. I’m also really nervous about the bonding process. What if it doesn’t go well? I’m just so nervous. Any advice or opinions would be greatly appreciated.

I would try to evaluate what kinds of personalities would go well with your bunny that you have currently and definitely meet the buns at the shelter to see if they are compatible with you and may be compatible with your bun.
I would always try to get another bun if you have a lonely bun and as long as you spend time with your current bunny, he should be alright and because you’re planning on bonding it’ll be better for him in the long run if the buns get along. You also can talk to the shelter and see if you can do little dates between your bun and other buns at the shelter to see if any are compatible. But be careful not to stress your bunny too much if you decide to do that and always be prepared!
There is a bonding section if you need help with bonding as well.
