It’s been almost 2 months and my wait is finally over! My new baby girl, now officially named Holly, is here!

She is absolutely fantastic! I had planned to just let her rest and get settled in today but she was running around to come out immediately when she got home. She’s been binkying, dashing around, stopping for nibbles of hay, and binkying some more for the past hour and a half. She even comes up to me and nudges my leg. She’s SO out going, I definetly wasn’t expecting this kind of huge personality right away.  

So far I’ve seen her eat and drink, I’m just waiting on some poop to set my mind at ease, but so far she seems to be settling in great. One thing I’m a little concerned about it her eating litter pellets. I saw her eat a couple earlier but then left it alone after that. Is this harmful?

Aww holly is super cute I am supposed to get my bunny tomorrow but lots of stuff happened anyway i already posted a thread about it. She is soooo cuute! I just love her face with those ears!

You got a pedigree too, awesome! I love researching pedigrees, I did it with our Siamese, or tried at least. I just took a look at Holly’s parents, they are beautiful too!

I’m SO excited to finally have her here. She seems really happy. She’s been running around in fast circles and doing binkys all over the place. She even climbs up on my lab when I sit with her on the floor. I thought there’d be more of a “settling in” period when she’d be timid and shy but right out of the carrier she’s been so playful and out going.

She does this funny thing where she runs in her condo, grabs hay, and brings it all the way out into her pen to eat it. Then a couple minutes later she dashes back for more. It’s so funny to watch.

I think she’s glad to have a family. I fell asleep for an hour or so while she was in her pen and as soon as I woke up she seemed really happy and started running around again. lol

Hahah! She’s adorable! Meeko was the same way when I brought him home. He’s super spoiled now because he thinks he runs the place. I eventually let him come out into my room, and now he puts his paws on his cage to let me know he wants out. lol Good luck with the baby!

Thank you! She’ll have more space after her spay when she’s better with litter training. This morning was my first time being up before 6am in years! lol This is something I’ll definitely have to get used to.

Holly is just precious!!!!!!!!!! Hey Katie, thanks for posting on my forum, and no way could I have left, I HAD to make sure your beautiful girl’s ears were real (he he he he….) and that you did call her Holly – it’s such a pretty name! I have been SO excited for you, I think I was just as happy when I saw your forum that you finally bought her home (silly me) lol! I was so glad to see you didn’t leave! You’ve been so helpful in all my preparations I was really excited for you to see her when she was finally home!

I think, as much of an impulse choice as she was, this has to be one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. LOL She’s just so fun to watch and a joy to be around, I can’t wait to learn more about her and watch her grow ( and most likely flood the forums with pictures as every proud mama should haha).

Tsuki, Thank you so much!! And I couldn’t resist the little present lol She hasn’t figured out she can tear it open yet, so she kind of just throws it around. haha
