I picked up my little flemish giant yesterday and she’s already a sweetheart. A little nervous from the trip but eating drinking and pooping as of this morning. She loves to sit in a cardboard box that she found in the room and loves to run circles around me. She enjoys being stroked and is pretty calm with being picked up and held although she doesn’t like being put back down

She’s 9 weeks old and pretty small right now although she has an expected weight of 17-20 pounds.

Here she is sitting in her litter box enjoying a dandelion leaf!

Flemish giant are so big! She’s bigger than Wick will ever be already, haha!

I always do a reassuring pet/cuddle when I put Wick down from carrying for the first few weeks. This made the putting down on the ground much more calm.

Thank you everyone! She adores all the compliments I think her name is going to be Lola, I’ve been trying a handful of names and that’s the one that stuck!

Her personality is beginning to come through and I can tell she’s going to be a little feisty one, she loves the apple tree sticks to chew on but if I dare to hand one to her she takes it, rears up to her hind legs then drops quickly while throwing it onto the ground. Then she waits until I hand it to her again so she can toss it over and over, only when I stop giving it to her will she settle down and chew on it.

Lola is very comfortable with jumping on to my lap and when she does she likes to lick my arm and sometimes reach up to give my chin a little lick as well; now I say she’s giving me kisses but maybe she’s just seeing if I taste good. Oh! earlier when she was chilling on my lap she tried to dig on my leg, does this mean anything? I wasn’t holding her so if she wanted to go she could just jump away, is this just an exploring playful thing?

Sounds to me like she’s a saucy playful doe
