Sorry for posting another new thread.
I just need help decided which brand of pellets to buy Moxie! The pellets Moxie’s eaten since I got her (2 1/2 years ago) has been “Small World: complete feed for rabbits”. It was never the best, but it has noticeable declined as of the last few bags I’ve bought. So I want to get her onto something that’s better nutritionally and quality-wise. 2 brands I’ve been recommended/come across have been Sherwood Adult Rabbit Food and Supreme Science Selective. I’ve heard a lot of good about both.
The ingredients of Sherwood:
Alfalfa hay, timothy hay, whole oil seed blend (flax included)*, Monodicalcium phosphate, salt, choline chloride, essential amino acids, chelated minerals, B-vitamins, cobalt carbonate.
Ingredients of SS:
Dehydrated Alfalfa Meal, Soybean Hulls, Whole Wheat, Wheat Middlings, Flaked Peas, Flaxseed, Dried Beet Pulp, Soybean Meal, Soybean Oil, Monocalcium Phosphate, Salt, Ground Limestone, L-Lysine, Dl- Methionine, Choline Chloride, Vitamin A Supplement, Vitamin E Supplement, Cholecalciferol (Source Of Vitamin D3), Manganese Oxide, Zinc Oxide, Iron Sulfate, Niacin Supplement, D-Calcium Pantothenate, Menadione Sodium Bisulfite Complex (Source Of Vitamin K Activity), Thiamine Hydrochloride (Source Of Vitamin B1), Riboflavin Supplement (Source Of Vitamin B2), Copper Sulfate, Folic Acid, Pyridoxine Hydrochloride (Source Of Vitamin B6), Calcium Iodate, Biotin, Sodium Selenite, Vitamin B12 Supplement.
I want Moxie to be healthy and happy, inside and out. I’m not concerned about about alfalfa being in it since her current pellets are alfalfa based and she’s had no weigh issues. She’s never been one to eat a lot of hay either, if that helps.
