LOL – poor Dandela didn’t look like she was enjoying that. To be honest, I couldn’t tell – is the slit an O or more of a tube? An O would indicate a boy and a tube like thing would indicate a girl if that makes any sense at all to you :~)

Yeah sorry, there’s no way I can tell from that video. At 13 weeks there should be some sign of testicles.

I guess slit is a better word than tube…does that help? I would never go by signs of testicles either as some rabbits suck those up or some have encapsulated (more rare but it happens).

I took a look and according to this site and my exam, she/he is round, no slit. so that would make it a male.

I”m not sure what age the testicles descend at, but I could totallllllly see rorschach’s when he was a baby haha. If you have stairs, have your bun run up, and if you see two things bouncing then I’d say it’s a boy. =P I don’t know if rorschach is special, but his were super noticeable lol.

It is really hard to sex rabbits if you don’t know how to do it and you have nothing to compare (male compared to female) but you might be right…you just cannot rely on the testicles descending in each and every case.

                            sometimes they never descend/drop.

Yes, sometimes they don’t descend, but they still have a hormonal effect on the bunny. The vet would end up having to do a small incision to remove them, similar to a female spay.
