So I was giving Freddy some Critical Care the other night and he seems to always want to come sit on my lap and give me kisses and not eat critical care when I try to give him CC. I usually get him to eat most of it, though. I decided I would get a short video of him so you guys can see him in “motion.” He’s not very active but this is the most active he will be and he likes being on the couch with me. He only likes soft things so being in a house with only hard floors is tough for him. I am going to go look at yard sales this weekend to try and find some old towels, comforters, rugs, etc. for the floor for him. Anyway, here is the video. (I hope I am doing this right…I always seem to link it wrong and it doesn’t show up in the thread)
Oh and don’t mind my annoying baby talk voice…lol
If anyone can tell me how to put the video IN the thread from youtube that would help. I know I’ve been told and have done it before but everything I try doesn’t seem to work .

So we finally got a proper litter box, up until now most of the bottom of the hutch was used as a litter box. This is so much neater, and his pee doesn’t escape and drip down to the floor anymore, so that’s nice too…

Hello everyone!
It’s been ages. A new school year here in England and that has kept us teachers a bit busy. Loving Hazel’s video. Made me giggle all morning! Also love the flower accessory FluffyTail!
Here in Tizzy towers there has been lots of progress. Now about 7 or 8 months old, our little monster is putting on weight and showing us who’s boss. New favourite games include building dens in boxes and nests out of laundry! Oh…and we’ve just gone completely bar free on the cage. So far so good! She has full run of the house when we’re home and a whole room when we’re out. She’s a happy adventuring bunny!

Soooo…I just realized Valentine is a fatty….She’s a pig when she eats, yes I knew this but sheesh I didn’t know she was getting so fat. lol This is her next to a huge frozen water bottle. Maybe it’s just this picture that makes her look chubby??? I wonder how much she weighs now. When I adopted her in June of 2012 she was 6lbs.

Cuteness overload!! Love all the silly, goofy bunnies, so adorable!
Well, Dusty is officially a boy bunny, so I don’t have to worry about keeping them separated for fear of a pregnancy anymore. Once I knew for sure that Dusty is a boy and Alvin was over his feet issue, I put them together and they are basically bonded right now..didn’t take long!
I just have to keep an eye on them to make sure there won’t be any territorial fights, so far the only tiffs has been when Dusty bugs Alvin to play too long and Alvin just wants to lie down. Alvin will grunt and slap his front feet at Dusty, and he backs off (if he doesn’t, I remove him so things won’t escalate), but usually Alvin just comes and lies down under my chair and proceeds to grumble and complain loudly at the antics of youngsters these days.I have been putting the rabbits outside on the balcony when the weather is nice so they can enjoy the cool breeze and fresh air, and because they’re both molting at the same time, haha!
I usually let them in right before it gets dark, but the other night I got involved with doing my homework and completely forgot about them! Ooops! I had my window open and was startled at the sound of nails against metal along with scuffling and grunting noises. I look at the window and there is Alvin! My mouth dropped open because the window is four feet off the ground! I had no idea he could jump that high! Well, actually he just jumped about three and a half feet to the top of the rabbit hutch, which is against the wall under the window.Here’s how the ensuing conversation went in my head:
Alvin: Hey, you! You FORGOT about us, didn’t you? Lousy human!
Me:
Oh no! So sorry!…. Gah! Alvin is sooo cute being a bunny burglar, must take photo before rescuing him!!
Alvin: …….
What was Dusty doing during this time? Dumping out the water bowl and skipping around in the puddle. So when I open the door to let him in, he tracked in wet bunny prints. I think Alvin told him to do that.

Poor Tanger bun, I hope he feels better soon! I know it’s wrong to have a favorite, but Tanger is my favorite out of your bunch. They’re all gorgeous of course! You have a good bit of experience with giving fluids and meds, so I’m sure he’ll be better in no time. 
He’s lucky to have such skilled parents to take care of him.Nora is beautiful! She looks huge in the picture next to you, but I guess her fur makes her look bigger than she is. Does she weigh more or less than the Tans?

Hahahah, Hazel. Tanger is probably your favorite because of what a trouble maker he is!
We stopped force-feedings on Sunday, stopped fluids last night, so we’ll see how he does on just the Reglan and Benebac for a few more days before trying him without those either. I’m very causious about keeping the taking away of feedings, fluids, and meds very slow after Simba kept going back into stasis whenever we would eliminate them. And Nora is SO tiny. You can’t even tell in pictures or even in person unless you feel her. She just has so much fur! Haha! She is the smallest of my buns – weighing in at a whopping 2.5 lbs! Hahah, the Tans are all a little over 4. You’d never know it with her standing next to them.

You’re right, I guess I’m partial to trouble makers.
Wow, I can’t believe Nora only weighs 2.5 lbs!! We actually just weighed Oscar today and he also weighs 2.5 lbs. He has pretty much doubled his weight since we got him 7 weeks ago. It’s crazy how fast they grow. I wonder how big he’ll get…To me Nora looks just as big as the Tans in the pictures! Funny how they weigh so much more than her.

We’ve been having some beautiful late winter/early spring days here so Rufus has been spending some time hanging out in his outdoor x-pen (supervised of course!)
Rufus getting into an argument with one of my housemates’ chickens. He always wins because he’s a bully.
His other favourite September activity is lounging in my bed.

Brevin and Harley have a bromance going on. I think Harley really takes to Brevin because he gets groomed a lot. The ears, and the forehead…he loves it. Because as we all know, Sally is the receiver and Harley is the giver. She doesn’t give him the same amount of grooming as Harley gives her and Harley LOVES grooms so it all panned out well with him and Brevin :p

They have five chickens and they’re all silkies. Silkies don’t lay as much as other chickens and the eggs are pretty small but we do still get a lot of eggs! It varies with the season so we’re starting to get a lot more now that it’s spring. My complaint about them is that they smell pretty awful, poo all through the backyard and peck my toes!
I love that wooden thing that Oscar is on with the ropes! Did you make that yourself?Yeah, the smell is the main thing I’m concerned about. I don’t want the neighbors to start complaining…
Oscar’s toy was ordered online, sadly the company went out of business, otherwise I’d let you know where to get it.

So many cute bunnies and so many new ones! Guess that’s what happens when I disappear for a few months…
Tan! When did you get Nora?! She’s such a little cutie!
And LPT, I think I need a clone of little Olivia, she’d be the perfect girlfriend for my Zeppo.
So after 4 long months of bonding we finally got the trio together peacfully! Though the fiance has a theory that groucho looks to Izzy as a big momma, I just think he’s completely in love with her since they’re always cuddling together. Zeppo still lashes out every once in a great while but it’s just small stuff like a little lunge with an occassional small fur tuft in his mouth. For how much progress he’s made though we can’t be mad.

We also have a wild little buddy with us right now. My uncle saved him from a dog that had him cornered and ready to kill him. The dog wasn’t going anywhere as it was out at the farm to stay for a couple days so my uncle thought it would be ok to put the little guy in a bucket in his truck with some grass and veggies. Not so smart. The little one got out and couldn’t be found. I happened to see him running back and forth across the dash of the truck however he had been in there for about 4 days in 80-90 degree weather. I brought him home because he was extremely dehydrated and hungry. We’re just waiting for him to recover completely and he’ll be going back home. In the meantime we gave him the name of Lucky.

Binx, Long Time No See!
And boy do they look ADORABLE together. Congrats on the bonding. I totally commend you on sticking through it that long – you’re just proof it is ALL worth it. I wouldn’t worry about the bickering. My group (now at FIVE, can you believe?!) does this sometimes with the bickering. I do believe it happens in the groups where the pecking order is susceptible to change. It’s very difficult for me to determine who is the “top bun” anymore but I do know sometimes I see them bickering or picking and after a nip or two they are over it. it’s just what bunnies in large groups seem more prone to doing so I’m not surprised yours are doing that either. Anyways, my Nora girl we got about a week before Easter. The boyfriend and I were visiting a pet store after one of my friends sent us her picture. We went to make sure she was okay and needless to say, she was a mess. A total wreck. So of course we had to take her. We planned on fostering but she quickly stole our hearts and is now one of our group! We love the heck out of her despite me saying NO MORE BABIES after the Tans… but what can I say? We couldn’t leave her in those terrible conditions. I’m horribly glad we did though as someone surely to buy her as an Easter gift probably never would have paid the vet bills she brought in… nor would many have dealt with the HORRID hormones this one developed when she was old enough for her spay – but because of health issues we were urged to wait so we did. But now she seems healthy enough (has a sneezing problem but with no obvious issues – maybe just very sensitive they believe). But boy does she have a personality and a half. She is a fiesty little one but very sweet and VERY thumpy.

Isn’t she just beautiful? Her coat has come a LONG way since we rescued her. She was covered in mats and unfortunately will probably always have a bald spot on the back of her neck from it… but she is gorgeous none-the-less!
Not quite sure why Simba thinks this position is so comfortable….

It was indeed well worth the time! We’re not too worried about the bickering, figured it was just a group thing!Poor little Nora, but she’s so lucky that you found her and I can see why you couldn’t let her go! Can also see how easily all the fur can be matted if she’s not cared for properly. Hopefully she continues to stay in good health, and hopefully Tanger gets to feeling better too! Nora looks like she’d be super fiesty!

Haha! The only girl out of a group of all boys, I bet she does have them all by her little paw.
Good for Tanger but poor Simba. Hopefully it doesn’t turn into something chronic. That’s how Groucho’s started… A little sneezing then a full upper respiratory infection. We had a vet that kind of lied to us though and told us they were rabbit savy when they weren’t, and being our first buns I didn’t know where to go. He’d get better after a round of meds then like clockwork a month later was at it again. He’s been through 8 rounds of meds and our now rabbit savy vet says there’s nothing she can do to fully get rid of it and even with meds, whihch would have to remain constant, he’d probably still show sysmptoms the rest of his life. I’m still not sure I can trust them though either. It sounds fishy that she wouldn’t be able to clear the infection completely.
I hope after Tanger is all better you can get Simba up to good health then have a break from the bunny ilnesses for a long while! I think you deserve it after three in a row and a repeat from one.

Longearedlions- Your one fluffy lionhead reminds me of the Lorax. So grumpy haha.MissD- Where did you get that castle? It looks bigger than the Cottontail Cottage, which I’m thinking about getting as Nugget’s Xmas present. But the castle is so fancy, Buddy looks like such a prince!NBO- LOL at Brevin’s face and his arm around Harley… like he’s saying “He’s MY bunny!”Hazel- I love disapproving Oscar! That is a pretty snazzy setup he’s got there.Maria- Bentley just became my new favorite, love his name, color, adorable face, and his sense of style! Did you make that sweater?mfraz25- Poor Peanut, hope he gets better! We used to have the same carrier as you and everyone complemented on how cute it was. Unfortunately, Nugget’s big butt outgrew it.BaxternBoo- They have gotten so big and handsome now!tanlover- Not trying to be creepy, but can I touch Simba’s hair and bunny butt? So fuzzy…LPT- Olivia is gorgeous as usual. Emilee also likes to sport the no ears (bald) look.

Nuggetbuns – That last picture is adorable! Doesn’t look like it’s too comfy though.
Tan – I think I’ll talk to the vet about that. Especially since we jsut had Groucho in there today. I check on all the buns before bed to say goodnight to them and give them kisses and Groucho was fine when I did that, he even gave kisses back. when I woke up 7 hours later I sat on the bedroom floor a couple feet away from the boys to love on them and when Groucho hopped over to me he tipped over. Took him in right away cause he couldn’t stay standing straight. They diagnosed him with head tilt from the infection spreading to his ears. And again, they put him on Baytril which willl make his 5th dose of this. I told the vet I wasn’t comfortable with giving him those meds as they work for a few weeks after he’s off them then it comes right back. Or maybe I’ll just buy some Zithromax since I can get it off Doctors Foster and Smith’s website.
Here’s a picture after a small nap after coming home from the vet. He looks in good spirits other than the slight tilt.

He inherited most of his stuff from our last bunny, but don’t tell him that. Nugget and Emilee are so cute together! The picture with his paw on her ears is hilarious, somebody must have been cursing and he didn’t want her to hear! tanlover: I’m happy to see that Tanger is feeling well enough now to destroy something! I hope Simba is getting better, too. He’s such a sweety, he doesn’t deserve to be sick.

I made a hay rack out of a NIC grid for Oscar, while I was busy with that somekitty snuck into the bunny pen. You can tell by the confused expression on her face, she was quite overwhelmed with the endless opportunities for destruction. Where to begin?
After Oscar kicked her out, he helped me position his new hay rack:

Oscar is adorable!!& Nuggetbuns – Omgosh! lol. I love the one that looks like Nugget is protecting lol.
Here is a couple of my ex’s bunny, Bunny who I’ve been bunny sitting a couple times. I’ll have him again this weekend. I just love how his mini “photoshoot” came out lol.
EDIT: Btw, what breed of bunny is he? Does anyone know??

Buddy’s totally obsessed with it, he spends hours inside it and even has his dinners there. There’s not that much left of it now though so I’ll probably need to get him a new one soon

Thanks Hazel. I’d get a cat but my partner doesn’t like them.That’s no problem. Siamese act more like an insane monkeydogs than cats.
