I happened to be videoing one of my rabbits in an attempt to catch her binky-ing when I thought I saw my second bun flop. When I looked over at him with the camera he was doing this. I have seen him flop a million times, but I’ve never seen him breathe that hard and deep before which worried me. After I realized what was happening and stopped filming, he got up about 10 seconds later and acted normally. The last two or three days I have also noticed that his fur was a little bit wet around his eye, but he just had a check-up at the vet less than a month ago who said his teeth, eyes, and ears looked good so I assumed he maybe got to close to his water bowl. I’m 90% sure I’m just being over-protective and freaking out over nothing, but does the breathing in the video seem normal to anyone else???

Looks like he’s in a deep sleep and/or dreaming. Just wait until they do it with their eyes open…

Hahah thank you! That makes me feel a million times better. I walk in on him flopped at least once a week and think he’s dead every single time!
