Seen any movies lately?

Has anybun’s slave(s) seen any movies lately? As we know, summer is near, and that means new movies.

I have seen: The Avengers, and Prometheus very recently. The boyfriend and I plan to see Men in Black 3 soon.

 

I enjoyed both movies. I’ve developed a bit of a crush on Michael Fassbender He plays such a convincing robot on ‘Prometheus.’ Now, I’m off to go watch some of his old movies on Netflix

I saw the Avengers with the boyfriend. Will probably go see MIB 3 as well.

Loved the Avengers!! I also went to see Chernobyl Diaries..it was, eh. I’m really looking forward to Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter it looks amazing!! And I wanna see Brave cuz I love Pixar!!

I cant decide if I want to see Snow White or not. It looks good, but that annoying Twilight girl is in it.

I quite liked “Snow White & the Huntsmen”! Kristen Stewart drove me crazy, but Charlize Theron and Chris Hemsworth carried it. And the graphics were really good!

Ohh,, ohh ,, oh!!! I have seen Avengers, and am going to see Men in Black 3 3D!
I looked up new releases in August! The new “Total Recall” looks AMAZING!
I have seen the old one, from like 20 years ago! But the new one looks great!
The reason I looked up ones in august is because thats my bday!! YAY’
Also, “Bourne again” and ” The odd life of Timothy Green” look great

I saw Moonrise Kingdom (Wes Anderson’s latest) last week, and really enjoyed it. Not quite summer blockbuster material, but I thought it was a pretty good film.  Really excited about Dark Knight Rises and the new Spiderman film coming out soon…I’m a sucker for superhero movies haha.  It’s a little while off but I’m definitely anticipating December as well, when The Hobbit (part 1) and Les Miserables will be out!

I’m horrible with seeing new movies. I always say I should see something, and then totally forget about it until it’s out of the theaters. lol This is a good thread for me, because it’s giving me ideas!

Peppypoo, I’m also excited for Dark Knight Rises. I grew up in Pittsburgh and my dad keeps talking about how excited he is since the movie was filmed there. I saw previews and it doesn’t look like Pgh at all though (for good reason, since it’s supposed to be Gotham and all), but it’ll be interesting to see how much of the city I recognize.

I’m also excited for the Hobbit! I heard Elijah Wood was in it though and I was confused … Frodo isn’t in the book, so I’m not sure how they’re going to work him into the new movie unless they’re going to flash-forward to his part of the ring story.

I didn’t know there was a Les Mis movie coming out, but that sounds up my alley too.

Elrohwen – There have been a few of Les Mis movies but I think this is the first time they’re doing a musical film adaptation. I’m sooo excited, my parents had the CD soundtrack when I was younger and I grew up listening to the songs even before I knew what the musical was about haha. I’ll watch the trailer when I get home from work. I’ve never seen the musical performed, but I have the soundtrack and I’ve read the book, so I’m familiar with the story but I haven’t seen any of the other movies. I looked up the cast and I like some of the people, so I’m excited!

I love love love new movies. So far I have watched Prometheus, Snow White and the Huntsman, The Avengers, MIB 3, Moonrise Kingdom and Madagascar 3 just this past week.

I dragged a few friends to watch Moonrise Kingdom who complained the entire way there but enjoyed it in the end.

I was slightly disappointed with Prometheus and MIB 3 but still liked them.

I just saw Prometheus and loved it. I haven’t seen all the other Alien movies so I am currently downloading (shh) Alien and Aliens to watch with the BF tonight. And Spooky of course. Scully has to stay in the other room. (I can’t wait until they are bonded!)

I LOVED The Avengers! I plan on seeing Snow White and Prometheus and because I’m a nerd I’m really looking forward to seeing the Chimpanzee movie

Well, it’s not really new… but I saw Coriolanus last week. The Student Union puts on movies outside on the plaza every Thursday night. This Thursday I am going to see Mirror Mirror. Coriolanus was pretty good. I liked the actors. I love watching Shakespere’s plays set to modern times and the boyfriend liked all the war involved. At one point, I commented that I was shocked his hands weren’t twitching because I felt like I was watching him play C.O.D.
