  I live in the southwest, where summer wildfires are just a fact of life, unfortunately. The smoke irritates human eyes, noses, and lungs. I know bunnies have sensitive lungs and noses, so is there anything I can do to keep them safe and happy? I’m keeping the windows closed as much as I can, but an air-purifying air conditioner might be a bit out of budget at the moment

  Keeping windows closed should work pretty well. If a large amount of smoke finds it’s way in and the place your rabbit roams is small (no air circulating), you can use a fan or something to aggravate the air. Wick hasn’t ever had issues with smoke indoors, and he had an upper respiratory infection, haha.
