18 units is going to kill me. I spent over 7 hours today on just the 2 unit class! So this evening I just needed to do something mindless. I took an old box I got from Binky Bunny, cut a hole in it, and painted it in the most child-like way I could think of without getting too messy (I am not a fan of clean-up!). I figured it would be better than just a plain box. The paint is non-toxic acrylic, and Nova isn’t a big chewer anyways. I still have to do the back and two other sides. I am using paints from an old project, so I only have greens, reds, yellows, and one purple! I am not sure if she will use it, but it makes me happier to have something for her to have outside of her cage. She has been obsessed with getting behind my desk and close to where I keep the hay, but I think it has nothing to do with the hay. I don’t want her back there, but she has torn down any barrier I put up. She was basically squeezing between the wall and desk, that had to be no more than 3 inches appart! I shoved the desk closer to the wall, so hopefully that will solve the problem. Just as long as she doesn’t start chewing the desk… I will try letting her have free run again tonight. Let’s hope I don’t get woken up at 4 again! In the mean time, here are the promised pictures!

She honestly held this pose for almost half a minute! What a little camera ham!

I also want to add, she is still balding. The hair grew back where her first bald spot was, and now she has another two further up her back. I honestly think she is just going through an incredibly slow molt. Her activity level is normal, her appetite is amazing, and she seems very comfortable, as you can see in this very amazing flop!
