Sorry to bombard all of my fellow binkiers – who has satin rabbits?  Can anyone tell me about their temperaments?  Do they vary like any other breed and it’s just the luck of the draw?  I really wanted to adopt a rabbit, but there are no rabbits up for adoption within 5 hours of where I live, but I may try anyway.

        Thanks all!

My Pascal who is a Silver Fox is a Satin. He is quite the character. Generally a gentle giant but every now and then he decides my left foot is an evil intruder that must be  chomped on and driven from the house.

All of my buns are rescues and all have good natures though very different personalities. I must say that fore the most part I find REWs to be among the sweetest and most affectionate if you don’t count my big French Angora Piglet who is a hopeless snuggler. Starsky, who is a spotted cross is also a sucker for affection and interaction. Pepper who is a Silver Marten (same colours as Pascal but a much smaller bunny) is Piglets wifebun, she is incredibly clever and intelligent, she loves you to pay attention to her but on her terms, she is also very loving and believes it is her job to keep everyone safe incl the cats and the humans.
