Hi everyone, I really don’t know if this applies to all bunnies or if it’s just particular to my Quozl – but I tried rolling up a piece of sand paper and stuffing it into the gap under my dresser that she was desperately trying to squeeze under…. and after a sniff, and a half-chew (she opened her mouth, went to bite down, stopped… and she now won’t go anywhere near it!
Some sand papers are made with loose ground glass that’ll come off if you even scratch it, so be very careful which kind you buy. I used a british brand, I cant find the packaging right now…. but it’s wet-n-dr, good quality, incredibly fine and designed to be soaked so the grains wont come off even with a lot of chewing…. But Quozl won’t even touch her nose to it, so chewing isn’t a concern
Quozl hasn’t even attempted to chew the wood of the dresser or my sofas or anything (yet!!) so I don’t know if this would deter the most determined of bunny chewers… but thought I’d share
