  So I went to the San Diego Zoo today. Lots of hiking and I am glad I wore good shoes! The only thing was that a lot of the animals were sleeping and there were A LOT of rude people there….and the bathrooms are terrible. But other than that I had a good time. =D

  LOL! I love reptiles. xD Most of the mammals were hiding or sleeping so it was hard to get pics of them.

  Did you go in the afternoon? They usually nap and hide out during the hottest time. I love zoos!!!

  Yeah we went in the afternoon. It wasn’t too warm but I kind of thought the mammals were sleeping and hiding around that time..We could have stayed all night but my mom was very tired and in pain because it was just basically hiking steep hills. Maybe I’ll go later in the day next time. I have a year pass so I can go again. =)

  The elephant enclosure looks a bit barren. Do they have trees in there someplace?
  
  On topic of San Diego: I discovered yesterday that the city has now banned sale of cats, dogs and rabbits in pet stores (and other retail).
