Herself, Miss Diva of all she surveys, is four years old today.
I was never certain of the date of her birthday, so picked Sept. 1st and thought I’d focus on our Anniversary (Oct. 31st) instead. But we tried to celebrate a bit each year, and last year it was obvious that she was a Party Animal on August 30th, and a sleepy slug the next few days. SOOOOOOOO, I believe Sammykins was letting me know that her REAL birthday is August 30th. I have declared it her birthday from now on.
She has a small willow ball and a clean litter pan to start the day. She has doting grandparents around her and 3 baby carrots in her greens. And a willow wreath will be a present later. The weather has cleared up and we are all a bit sleepy and lazy this morning, taking our cue from Herself. Four years – can you believe it????

I had to make that my siggy today.
If you look very carefully at the video of her as a baby, you might see that her eyeliner did not come up as far at that age. Both kept growing and took that cute little bend, like someone took the brush and drew it way past the normal point. It took about half a year to get that long. So pretty, my girl.

There you are, MM! I was worried, since you have always remembered Sammy’s bday. On the other hand, I think it was last year (or the one before) where you wished her a Happy the day before, so this makes it even out in the wash.
You and Jersey have known her since her first growl at me when we met. Such a tiny fierce cutie. Thank you both. MM, I’ll email you a link to Youtube.

Yeah I’m really sorry I was late…I saw the thread late last night and thought “Oh no…can’t miss that!” Then lost the post I’d begun thanks to my stupidphone…..Urgh! I’ve been fighting a bad flu for a few weeks though and so my mind is not where it should be.
I am fortunate that you and Herself are so forgiving. I know I’m way behind on updates for Mimz.
Don’t want to hijack this thread but I will say he is doing a pretty well, all things considered. Fiver just poked me wanting to send special noserubs for Sammy. He’s still holding a torch for her. Lolz…. (He’s also upset with me for not posting an anniversary thread for his homecoming day
so I’m in the bunny equivalent of the doghouse.)
