Poor little miss Ruby.    She hardly ate anything monday.   So I rubbed her tummy and gave her a gas pill.   STill no good the next day she hardly ate anything again.

Getting more concerned I jiggled n rubbed her tummy.   Gave her gas pill looked up GI stasis.   Got her some grasses no go.  So tuesday  we went out.   I took her with us.  The inspector was coming back and I didn’t want her stuck in the closet in a pet carrier all day.

She did good tooth purred when I held her.   She came to my DR’s with me and Fouad  lol.   Still she didnt’ eat much.  So when we got home I remembered I had some Rabbit Lax from the pet store for this occassion.   Knowing she won’t eat it doesn’t like the taste I stuck some her her foot.  She cleaned it off.      Later on I put some more on.   Rubbed n jiggled her tummy which she didn’t seem to mind after she had eaten the sticky gel again.

So yesterday we went and got groceries I insisted we go then so I can get some greens and see if she will start eating. I got all sorts of greens.  I washed them when we got home so if she ate she would get water.  She did drink water from her bowl all this time though.   Well… she started eating them.  A little at a time.   She lay down.   Got up ate some more and so on.

I was so happy.  Else was gona be the vets today.

Got up this morning and all the food was gone.  While putting her pellets in her bowl she shoved my hand outta the way to get to them lol

I am overjoyed and thankful.  Was saying prayers for her.   What a relief that she is ok now.

This happened b4.   I think when I cover her cage when we go out it bothers her. The last time I did this she stopped eating for 1 day.  Then I had covered her cage recently so maybe thats it. Plus Cotton had begged for some bread and I gave them a tiny piece which I rarely do.  Won’t do that again.

Fouad hadn’t given them anything but a piece of apple.  She didnt’ eat it so it wasn’t that.

Yes that was scary.   I don’t want to lose her.  She is too sweet.

She is doing great now  eager for her food.    Let this be a lesson in why not to give even tiny piece of bread to a rabbit.  Or was it her being covered when I am not home since that happened b4 like this too minus the bread
