ruby am heart broken

stupid inspector said he thinks we have another rabbit.     we get a letter fix the non compliance or give us the keys and move out 7/21

the people i got her from took her back.

i been crying for days.     i cant part w/cotton cuz of they have a male rabbit n you know how cotton gets.   tomorrow we have a meeting.  then they come inspect again.

cotton seems happy to be an only bun

i hate to part w/ruby she is beautiful and so calm n sweet            i go with the people to synogogue n they will take her to see me       life hurts so bad sometimes.    just die already

my friends told me anytime i want her back even if its a year n something happens to cotton she is mine

ruby is staying in the youngest girls room.    getting lots of attention

fouad is cleaning the clutter too.   i can breathe walking to the kitchen so roomy         hope it stays that way

am listening to klezmer music while we rearrange   certainly lively music

oh bt, I’m so sorry to hear about The Lovely Princess Ruby but it’s great that you can still be in touch. She won’t forget her mom. I know that has to be so hard on you.

BT my heart is breaking for you. ;( I thought all this inspector business had been sussed out a long time ago. But luckily Ruby has somewhere to go that you can still see her. I know it’s not really the same, but perhaps things will change for you in the future and you can bring her home again.

Oh, BT, I am so sorry! You know, about 2 days ago I was wondering where you were and almost posted a “Yoo Hoo, Bunnytowne” post just to see if you would stop by and catch us up. I’m very sorry this has happened – I know how much you adore Ruby.

It sounds like the best possible solution considering the alternatives. Being laid back she will be fine with a new family. She may even be a bit more content without Cotton around since their bond had broken. Of course he stays with you. But it’s very lovely of your friend to bring her to see you regularly, and she always has a home with you someday if need be.

If your friend, or her daughter, has a computer, maybe you could have her join BinkyBunny and stay in touch with you and us that way?

I’m so sorry. Is there any chance you could move to a new apartment that allows two pets, or considers rabbits “caged animals”? Hugs… It does sound that Ruby is safe and cared for and that’s what matters.

thank you everyone.     We had the big meeting today and told them we bunsit for our friends.   That went over good.   The improvements and changes we made in the kitchen wow I can breathe I have space.  Ruby’s cage was BIG and I gave them her cage she was used to it and it was set up for her to have 2 places to rest on and get off that wire  plus her litterbox.  

I hope to see her Saturday.    one dog has taken to her and licks her n licks her.   They have to make him stop.  Yuck poor ruby having her soft coat ruined. 

Cotton has many years left him. 

It seems more relaxed today as I am getting used to not having her.  I can pet Cotton and go on the floor to see him and not worry about their jealousy and equal time with me.   That was hard and I have that lifted from my shoulders.

Plus I don’t have to worry about hiding her anymore.  Thats a load off.   And cleaning litterboxes I only have 2 and 1 cage Much easier.

But for all this I would trade for Ruby back.  Hopefully she is getting more attention now.  Poor girl I know she is lost she sits on the floor and just looks they told me.   Gosh I want her back. So bad.   Maybe I could keep her and when inspections come then they can come pick up Ruby.  Then bring her back later.

So we get to stay here at least.    With our income and rent so high 1 check would cover the rent and would have hard time finding a place to live. Besides here at low income housing.

So I feel stuck. 

I think Cotton is happy with the extra attention tho.   HE is going to have to get used to being brushed everyday now.  And being held while we sit on the couch for a few minutes after his brushing.

Bunnytowne, I’m sorry to hear you’ve parted with your Ruby. It was so good of the people to take her back and i’m happy to read they are your friends. Maybe you could offer to continue grooming her for them?

Just as well Cotton and Ruby never truly bonded because I don’t know what you would have had to do about the non-compliance then.
