NO idea! (nothing unusual for me, ha ha ha ha!), cause I’m at the other extreme – I struggle to get Henry to eat his hay. He is very piggish with his Oxbow pellets (that I reduced to 1/8 cup, months and months ago to try encourage his hay eating habits), and as soon as the sun goes down and it’s dark (I was wondering how he could tell the time?) he ‘demands’ his veggie/salad dinner! Henry is surviving based on me giving him his restricted pellets daily along with his veggie dinner and ‘if your still hungry’ eat your hay! He struggles! What I would give for Henry to indulge in his hay the way Roxi does – I would be super excited! Being that hay is supposed to be the majority of our bunnies diets and your Roxi is overindulging and only excluding what most say is dessert…. I’d be ok. Because you still have to make dinner for Lionel, Stevie and the piggies, just keep offering them to her, who knows, she may come around/feel like it one day?
I’m not fussed on chocolate, but my hubby always offers me a bit from his ‘BLOCK’ – on occasion (very rarely) I accept his offer – only for him to get caught out and he says ‘ooops, there’s none left’ – idiot!
And if your super confident with your vet (like I am with mine) and he says it’s all ok – honestly, I wouldn’t worry (though I know you will!). I take a lot of comfort and ‘relief’ when my vet (as long as you trust them) says “it’s all good”!
PS – and make sure Roxi isn’t watching any of those DIVA show’s on tv! Just tell her she is beautiful the way she is…. he he he he he!
