Will I need to “re-train” Penny to be litter trained again after her surgery? She was spayed Monday. Right around 6 months of age she starting pooping outsider her litter box and she never used to do that until that age. I’m assuming it had to do with her reaching her sexual maturity. She would poop EVERYWHERE, it would drive us crazy. She’s still doing it but I did read her hormones will be a little crazy for a bit after her spaying.

You’re right. It may take several weeks to a month for her hormones to die down. During this time, she will be wanting to mark her territory. You may have to do some retraining but if she was easy to train before puberty then it probably won’t be hard at all. Most bunnies want to keep their area clean and the scattered poos are hormonal marking.
