Bianca started sneezing few days ago out of the blue before bed. Since it was late I took her to the vet tomorrow morning. She’s been sneezing trough the night. But everything else was fine. Eating, happy…
Anyway, vet said that she had just a start of respiratory issue and if she was dog or a cat we could try just vitamins, but since she is a little bun we started on antibiotics and vitamin shoots.
She didn’t sneez after that day at all and has been great it’s just that now I hear her doing little blowing out air from her nose, just a little mff. She doesn’t have a runny nose or too wet, its just a bit moist but it looks like thats from her breath.
However it sounds to me that those mffs are sounding a little wet, she doesn’t do it all the time but…
She will have her 5th day of treatment tomorrow, and then we will see will more be needed. (I would guess it will).

It’s just that I worry about her a lot. I checked a lot of things by now and cant find if anything is bothering her. Will she stop that mff thingy? Will her breathing be completely ok after this…

I can understand how worried you are, Olly has all year round hay fever, but I stay calm because if I panic he panics, have you given her different hay? Hay cookies are very nice for bunnies that sneeze, not as messy to clean up, maybe BB has some in the BinkyBunny store

Hmm… Did the vet do a culture before prescribing antibiotics?

Chewie had a cough and after his round of baytril I’ve been giving him echinacea daily and dandelion whenever I can find it, and he’s holding up so far *pretend spits for good luck, as my Romanian grandma would* lol

Shake out her hay as much as you can before serving it, and try to make sure Redford doesn’t pick up the bug if it’s a bug…

(((get well soon, little white lion)))
