  Hello, I’m just called Speedy online, so will stick with that.
  
  This is my guy called Remus Lopin. Yes, you can groan at the play on the name. He has a cute little almost lightning bolt like streak on his forehead, so I was going with a Harry Potter type name. Since i couldn’t come up with a play on Harry’s name, I went with this one.
  
  I’ve had Remus about two weeks. He was going to end up a food rabbit, but some cute events and his intelligence allowed him to avoid that fate and come to me. Long story short, there were two rabbits and a dog got into their cages. The one died and Remus managed to escape and run off. The people who had him thought he was gone, like most would. Two days later she heard a noise at her sliding glass doors and looked up. There was Remus, sitting there waiting to be let in to get some food. Lots of snuggles came as well. Ended him being a food rabbit and he became a pet. As they didn’t have the space for another pet and couldn’t take care of him in that capacity. I took him. He’s been spoiled since then.
  
  He’s a boy, obviously, but I don’t know how old he is or his breed. No, he’s not neutered, yet anyway. He’s quite the bold sweet bunny that wasn’t the least bit scared of my cats when he came in despite their monstrous size! As long as he’s in his cage, he knows no fear. He loves being held and petted. He’s just fearful of outside the cage still. We’re working on that.

  He’s adorable! And my old bun was named after Luna Lovegood and my best friend’s bun is named after Regulus Black

  He is adorable!!! Hey, I never got to get into Harry Potter as a kid, so once I was 18 and allowed to read the books I went slightly crazy

  What a sweet guy! We considered Potter names, too (and Dr Who themed ones.) In the end my son named our two out of his head, though. I am just a huge fan of geekery names.
  
  I’m so glad he was saved from that fate and has found a home with you. His big broad face looks so squishable!

  Thankee Am a Potterhead, so he was getting a HPisk name of some sort.

  Aww! So cute. My wife and I are huge Potterheads and we both love the name Remus Lopin!
  
  Our buns also have Potteresque names. We’ve got George (her late sister – we were told they were boys – was called Fred) and Charlie Weasley. We nearly ended up with another two gingers for our Weasley clan, but we fell in love with our white and grey dwarf – Albus Dumbledore. We often try to call him by saying “Professor! Professor!” but he’s not interested if there’s no food.
