The only reason I ask is because personally I wouldn’t feel comfortable advertising online like some people do as often you don’t know who they are going to. But I would be more swayed to doing so if they asked questions like are they spayed and vaccinated. This shows that the potential owner is more knowledgeable on rabbit care and responsibilities. I don’t want to turn your original post into a spaying/vaccinating debate or to say some people aren’t responsible rabbit owners. It’s just worth bearing in mind that a lot of people take on rabbits as family pets and don’t realise the care and attention that goes into them and they often get neglected or rehomed. At one point I was looking for rabbits on sites like gumtree and preloved and it’s shocking to see how many people would just sell there rabbit off for £10 or give it away for free. It was also off putting to see how many people were selling unneutered male/female pairs. To me this is off putting to a person who is knowledgable on rabbits and they would look elsewhere. I feel like going this way will attract the wrong type of owner. I’m not trying to put you off it’s just worth bearing in mind.
I know you say you don’t want to give your bunny to a shelter but this way the owners are carefully chosen. They check that they can provide for the animal in all aspects of their care. I recently rehomed one of my rabbits at a shelter and I can’t thank them enough. I was very lucky that he had a home lined up for him before he even had to go to the shelter. Shelters are very knowledgable and have contact with people who adore rabbits. This is the bonus of a shelter. The process was also sped up by the fact he was already neutered and vaccinated so he didn’t have to go through this process before rehoming. It definately is worth looking into shelters in your local area and seeing if they have a space. You might get lucky and there is one or you might have to wait. It’s just really worth it for peace of mind that they have gone to a good place.
