        Hi!

My bunny has some redness on outer ear, does anyone know what could be the cause of this and if this is normal?

        Thank you

Hi, sorry no one has responded. It could be fur mites, or possibly ringworm. It’s a bit hard to tell from the photo. Fur mites commonly show up in that location. If that’s the case, it’s easy to treat with Revolution (you can get it from your vet).

It’s hard to tell from the picture. Is it just the one ear? Is fur missing or did you just blow on the fur to make it part? Without additional info, I tend to agree with Dana.

It is on both, and he has sparse parts of hair.
My friend got her bunny from the same place I did and the vet gave her revolution in case it is (they couldn’t see anything).
I have an appointment tomorrow to treat if needed.

                Thank you
