Yea Fern just randomly started pooping outside the litter box and I was wondering if it is just hormonal. I know her hormones are raging now because she keeps circleing me and grunting. I cannot wait till I can get her spayed, we are going to the pre-op appointment on tuesday! I’m exited!

that could def. be the culprit… when does she actually go for surgery?

Tucker started getting more and more like that when her hormones started.  Luckily they seem to have calmed down a bit now and she’ll be spayed in the next few weeks so phew…looks like we’ll be able to make it through without too much issues.  With Tucker I found having multiple and larger litter boxes helps.  It’s obviously not a fun thing because it means more litter and more time cleaning..but it should get you through til the spay with at least minimal out of box pooping.

I know that Moses was HORRIBLE about pooping outside of the litter box till we had him neutered. In fact we didn’t rescue him till he 4 years old and had developed the WORST habbit of not using his litter box. But it was a miracle the day after he was neutered and now we rarely have an accident! Good luck with the surgery!
