So we got these two rabbits at a farm and they were pretty much forgotten, the people didnt know what breed they were, but I’m pretty sure the black and white one is a mini lop, but what about the other bunny?  Thank you! Btw the white one is around the size of a mini lop. http://i68.tinypic.com/2re1t3d.jpg

Here, posting the pic for you.

I’m not great with breeds but we have many members here who are.   Super cute, though. Do you know hold old the bunnies are?

It looks like he or she may be a harlequin mix, going by the patches of pattern that I see. You didn’t say when you got the rabbits or how old they are, but rabbits should be separated before they are 12 weeks of age. Otherwise, you may end up with litters or you may end up with fighting bunnies and injuries. Both rabbits will have to be spayed or neutered, then after a few weeks you can start the bonding process.

            That’s a very cute bunny!

You know, the vast majority of rabbits I see look like that. Colors vary, but they are usually predominantly white with similar patterns and similar body shape and size. I’ve looked at a lot of rabbit breed posters and none of the “purebreds” look like that. I’m assuming they are some sort of mix of things. They’re always around 4-6 pounds as well. I wish I had more insight. Whatever that little bunny is, he/she is adorable. What a precious little face.

US mini lop or UK mini lop? US mini lop can weigh up to 6lbs. If this bunny is the same size, then he/she is probably a mix of medium breeds. From the photo, he/she looks smaller than that and resembles a false dwarf… like a Nethie mix. I also see a hint of fuzz on top, could there be some lionhead in there?
