I was wondering where all the posts with my name on them came from….

I was laughing in the car all the way to work, but didn’t have time to reply until now. You guys are so silly.

It is in Great Britain, so the price in pounds is about double in dollars. I just saw him and had to have him after I saw one like him on Widget’s blog.

Widget and Friends is the other cool site. Widget is a sock bunny. I got Rainbow Sockbunny from a friend and just ordered another one.

MimzMum posted Widget’s blog once, I think. It is really cute and funny. MM has a huge warren of these bunnies, but then, she lives in Alaska so she needs a lot of socks for she and her pets. Sockbunnies sit on their feet because you can’t take them apart, of course.

OK, here’s what happened: I saw two the first morning. Then I had an email from MM saying “there are all these posts to you. Are you OK? Did something happen?”
As it happened, I was feeling really down the last week or so (work reasons-boss’ daughter is in hospital) and it really cheered me up to see them. Well, as soon as I replied to MM, I went back on the Forums and there were more!!!
By the time I checked out all the ones I saw, I had to get to work so I didn’t have time to reply. I was smiling and laughing in the car. It worked!
TOTALLY cheered up.

So jersey, I must confess, it’s probably your #3.

…but don’t rule out revenge…

Sorry guys, I don’t mean to appear rude, I simply don’t check that message center often enough and I know I should. My sincere apologies to those of you who wait an inordinate amount of time for a reply.
Is there some kind of notification we can receive on that to our email? I usually go straight to active topics when I come in, so I sadly fail to remember that I have a message box to clear. So unless I get a flag at my inbox, I haven’t a clue.
With my son up at college and having a difficult first few weeks that looks like it will stretch into the next few months, I’m not really on the ball here and I log in only sporadically.

As I said, it was a bit hit and miss depending whether people were online when I msg and if they check msg’s. FYI, yes you do get a NOTIF in your inbox of the email account you have nominated for BB use.

Sorry your son’s finding the transistion hard. How far away is he?

Luckily not far. About 40 minutes. If it were states away, yeah, it’d be unbearable. But he’s not used to the workload (I home-schooled him and our curriculum was very laid back) and the distance from home, so he’ll need to adjust. He may be staying over this weekend with us and sleeping in his own bed, maybe that’ll refresh him.
Funny, I don’t get any notice in my email. Better check my settings. :-/

Good he can come home. Not too many changes all at once. I remember when ever starting anything new I would always just be so tired for the first few months.

Even though you didn’t check your messages, MM, you still actually got the leg pull rolling.

I think your son will be just fine. I haven’t met anyone that didn’t have a funky time during freshman year. If they say it’s great, they’re lying or they’re about to flunk out because they’re not studying. It will make him feel better to be home, if only for the nice feel of clean laundry.
