Hey! I love the idea of getting my bunnies one of those wooden beds. I found one on Amazon but I’m concerned about them chewing it. The description says it’s made out of 100% rattan, a type of wood I guess. It doesn’t mention if it’s treated or not.  I did some research and just can’t find very much information on whether it’s rabbit safe. Does anyone have any experience/knowledge or advice? Thanks!

Hmm… not sure what you’re looking at. Rattan is a type of palm. You usually associate it with wicker furniture. When buying a doll bed, most people get the natural wood doll bed from Ikea.

Palm products are generally safe, but I would be concerned about if it was treated with something.

That was my thought Dana. A lot of wicker-type products are treated with chemicals.
