Spike had his first wellness exam on Monday, where he met his vet, Dr. Vanessa. I’ve been going to her for years (worked for her briefly, too) but I’ve only had Spike 6 months and he was due for a visit. He was very healthy (Yea!) and behaved well until it was time for a toenail trim. With assistance and much wiggling, it got done. Surprisingly he stayed still to get his temperature taken (yikes). He even liked the car ride over, watching out the windows from inside the front of his carrier.
So, this morning we were up very early and I let him out for a run at 6 am. Semi-dark, I got his breakfast, but couldn’t seem to find him.
Then I spotted him under the kitchen table. Where I had forgotten I’d left the iPad Mini charging overnight.
Where a thin cord – with 6 more teeth marks – dangled detached from the other piece dangling from the plug.
A certain bunny was told to get back in his house, and no treat. Naughty bunny. He knew.
