Recently found a bunny that cant resist the heat from the Arizona roads… I passed by him on my bike one night when he was just sitting in the dividing line of a busy street… I had to nudge him all the way to the side of the street, he wouldnt move on his own… I figured he was just froze scared from me and the cars so I continued on… On my way back a couple hours later he was back in the center of the road, unresponsive to me trying to shoo him off… I put him in a trance and wrapped him in my shirt, he was completely submissive throughout the handling process… I got him home and found he had blood spatter on his ear so I examined his body for possible pellet wound, snake bite, pressure response… nothing… it looked as if the blood was there from another animal, I cant imagine how it could have got there… my mom thinks it was a trumatic experience and he was just trying to commit suicide… he was only a month old max so I dont believe that was the case… anyways… just yesterday I closed my rabbits cage once he left to force him to explore around so I could check out his mobility… he moved great and responded well to my company but after everything was said and done he backed into a corner and really tucked himself in there hard and lifted the top half of his body so he could push in on his stomache with both hands… he did this repeadedly over 15 minutes,… and again today inside his cage he did it a little more… but then I saw him fall asleep shortly after in same position but head lowered eyes closed… first time Ive seen him sleep around me… he then woke up and just walked out of his cage with me still in the room and is exploring the soda boxes… so it doesn't seem to alarming I just want to know what this lil guys up to… hes on a wheat grass, romaine, oat, blueberry, celery, strawberry, asparagus, hay diet… hes eating and pooping up to par, and is very chill and is now back to his same spot looking fine…
