  I noticed my rabbit wasn’t eating his pellets and was grinding his teeth, which I know means they are in pain, so I took him to the vets and they couldn’t find anything wrong with him, so just gave him a injection to get his gut moving and gave me some recovery food. He’s been acting himself the whole time,been moving around and pooping and drinking fine, he has a cat litter tray filled 24/7 with hay (although he rarely eats hay,it is there for him) and he gets given fresh veg every morning which he eats, he also eats treats every time I give him them, so why isn’t he eating his pellets? he used to be a greedy rabbit and eat all his pellets every night but hes just stopped? also I would like to add, I thought he may have gone off his current food which was the harringtons pellets so I went out and bought the burgess excel with mint to gradually change him and my other rabbit on to but still,hes eaten a little bit of it but every morning I go out and his food bowl is still full? can anyone help!!

  How long since he’s not been eating his pellets? And when did you start to switch the pellets? And also, how old is he?

  rabbits should only eat half a cup each day not unlimited.
  did your vet check his molars. my vet didn’t check for months with my rabbit and thats why he never eaten her pellets
