I was cutting her nails since it got really long and I noticed that her “thumb” nail is bent at an angle and not curved. I tried cutting it but she pulled away. Should I be concerned? I’m not sure what to do?? Please help. Any response would be much appreciated.

That’s a bit of a dangerous angle in terms of grooming and just getting snagged on things. If possible, I would cut it as usual (not clipping the quick). Since nails are somewhat pliable when they grow, consistent trimming may help it return back to straight.

If you can’t do it, try bringing her to a professional bunny groomer or a rabbit savvy vet. They should know how to handle those. My bunny’s dewclaw (that’s the name of the “thumb”) also grew out slightly bent and it was really difficult to trim as well, so I took him to a professional bunny groomer to do it.
