I’m moving!! The one bad thing is the bedrooms are carpeted
, There is no way I’m going to able to have my rabbits pens/adobe on the carpet without a flooring material. This is because they are super messy (obviously they’re rabbits). My female has in the past marked her territory out of the litter box and the hay and all the good stuff I feel like is a disaster with carpet. Defiantly with my female who has had 1 of her 2 carpets taken away from her bunny adobe because she kept eating it lol.
The lease did say we can have caged pets, just no large birds. We don’t plan on sharing with them about the rabbits b/c they only asked about cats and dogs. Also, worse scenario my dad still will own out house so they find out and it is a problem I can house them at his house and would just have to spend more time there.
So we plan on getting some plywood 4 ft by 8 ft (a little bigger probably) to serve as the base. My rabbits aren’t yet bonded so they do have 2 separate pens. I do need something to go over it though. Something my rabbits wont chew and is easy to clean and leak proof. Easy to clean is important because I like how there are many cleaning products that are safe for rabbits that can easily be used on tiles/plastic.
Any ideas on what i can put over the plywood? Or any other ideas on what you do? Any advice is welcome and appreciated!!
I figured I could find a thick plastic material and staple it on the back of the plywood. This would be great so they can’t dig it up and it will be stretched tight so it would be hard for them to chew on.
We are moving very soon. They will be temporarily in the living room until we can find something to make this work!
