I am using oxbow adult rabbit feed the red bag. I was wondering if that is healthy because I know it has cane molasses and was not sure. Should I switch them to the garden select by oxbow or is it ok to use what I am using? Any help is greatly appreciated because I just want to keep them healthy.

Oxford red bag rabbit pellets is a high quality rabbit feed. If you want to you can of course transition your buns to Garden Select when they’re about to finish your current red bag. You mix the old pellets with the new with more and more of the new pellets over say a week. But the red bag feed is quite fine.

Oxbow makes good pellets overall. I believe this was discussed before and we concluded that the molasses was in such a small quantity that it shouldn’t be cause for concern. Molasses is used to add potassium and other nutrients to the food.
