  Okay so my Holland lop is about 12-13 weeks old and doesn’t eat much hay. She picks and moves it around like a child would peas on a plate. I started feeding her alfalfa hay because she is young, but did not really eat it. I switched her timothy hay which she responded to better at first, but now picks at it. She LOVES her little bit of pellets I feed her in the morning and the evening (she gets so excited). I am really worried about her hay eating habbits. Any suggestions? I have only fed her oxbow (its as much as I can afford).

  I found a few things that work
  
  1. Refresh hay often-that doesn’t mean you have to dump it, but ‘fluff’ it and add more -I do this three times a day

  3. Mix different types of hay together
  
  I do all three and my two fight over the hay You could even serve some of her pellets in the hay so she has to dig around a bit for them, and see if that gets her eating it
