        Hi Everybun!

I’ve been noticing that mars is eating a lot of hay. now you might be wondering “How much?” well, he goes through a 60 oz bag of timothy hay in about a week or two. When he was eight weeks old, he probably ate a cup or two of hay but now that hes 8 months old, he probably eats twice of his weight in hay. every single time i look at his litter box there is no hay left. its so adorable seeing him get all exited about a hay refill and hay toys and I honestly don’t mind buying hay every week but i’m kind of concerned. is this normal?

Thank you so much!! I know hay is like a superfood for rabbits but I was kind of worried. I guess now is the time to start buying hay in bulk!

Join the club! I just bought a 50pound box of oxbow from dr Foster Smith for $50 and free shipping. I haven’t opened the box yet but it’s the cheapest from oxbow. I usually buy other brands in bulk but they are brown and dusty.

I don’t think there is such a thing about eating “too much hay”. my buns plow through a bag in about a week.
