I rescued this little one not to long ago and have zero clue breed or age(which I know is almost impossible to predict). Any ideas on what breed this could be? Very coarse feeling fur, black nails, medium sized. Also any tips for bonding, we now have 3 rabbits in their own bedroom but we currently have them all separated and I want to make sure I introduce them properly so nothing goes wrong.  Thank you in advance for the tips and info!!

He looks like a very cute mixed breed 🙂 . As for age, the only tip I’ve heard is that when rabbits age, their heels start to slide a bit farther apart due to arthritis. So an older bun’s back feet will be more parallel, and a young bun’s will have the heels turned in and toes more pointed out. Other than that is can be very hard to tell! A vet may be able to give a bit more of an estimate. Based on his proportions he looks very much adult, so probably older than 1.5.

His fur may get softer with good care, I know my buns did. <3

For bonding I recommend checking out the Bonding info section as a starting point: https://binkybunny.com/infocategory/bonding/

All buns should be spayed/neutered and given several weeks for their hormones to settle before you get started. It also really helps to do “pre-bonding”, where you set the buns up in side-by-side pens and swap who is in which pen every day or two for a few weeks. This gives them time to get used to each other’s scent and to learn the other rabbit isn’t totally a threat.

Are any of the rabbits currently bonded or will you be starting with 3 singles?

Those wide heavy ears suggest there might be a little bit of lop in there. Also, the dewlap means it’s most likely a girl. I would say full grown adult, but not a senior.
