Help! A stoat just attacked my poor rabbit Foo today. I think something is wrong with her eye, she’s been keeping it slightly closed for the past few hours and I hear cracking when I pet her head. The cracking isn’t her rubbing her teeth, I’m positive. Can someone please tell me what might be wrong? I’m taking her to the vet tomorrow because it is far too late today.

          Im sorry to hear this.

This really is not something anyone could tell you. We cannot see her in person nor are we veterinary experts. Im sorry, it’s really a matter that cannot be attended by advice over the internet.

Please find an out-of-hours vet clinic and take her to be seen. I hope she will be okay.

FooChunk posted an update here but the post was of many lost in a Forum flitch. I’m re-posting the update here for them.

I took her to the vet and she appears to be fine now. The vet said her eye shouldn’t be disturbed and it should just be left alone for the next week
            Thank you
